Hailing from the lush forests of Oregon, we take pride in our wood products, which are crafted in Eugene, Oregon using sustainably sourced Oregon red alder.

Red alder, a hardy hardwood, thrives in the coastal Pacific Northwest's verdant climate. As this natural resource is harvested, it is carefully replanted, ensuring its longevity for generations to come. Alongside the preservation of our forests, the wise use of wood is of equal importance to us.

Many of our products are made using materials sourced from local furniture manufacturers, allowing us to repurpose their short and narrow wood pieces (or "fall down") into a myriad of useful items. Those short boards, not long enough for the manufacturers' needs, are transformed into our cutting and serving boards. Similarly, the very narrow wood pieces are utilized to create our spice racks and push pulls. Even our sawdust is put to good use, serving as a heating source for many of our buildings.

Our extensive line of cutting boards caters to basic kitchen needs, as well as a wide assortment of specialty boards ideal for serving dips, ptés, cheeses, and oils. We take great pride in our role as woodworkers in Eugene, Oregon, and we hope that you will find as much joy in using our products as we do in creating them.

One such handsome hardwood board is made in the USA from Red Alder, with striking strips of Maple and Walnut running through it. Included with this board is a Bread & Bagel Slicer with a Walnut Finish, designed for right-handed use. The Stainless Steel Blade is American Made, double-ground, serrated, and ultra-thin, boasting the same high-quality craftsmanship found in industrial bread slicers that can handle thousands of slices a day.

This versatile bread slicer effortlessly cuts through all kinds of bread, from crusty sourdough to warm loaves fresh from the oven or bread maker. The cutting board itself measures 18" x 8" x 0.75", while the bread slicer's overall length is 16", with a blade cutting length of 9 inches. Packaged in a retail box, this set comes without a blade guard, allowing for easy access and use.
